Position Title: Talent Management Coordinator

Position Description:
The Continuing Education Team Support role is responsible for providing day-to-day support to a team of learning and development specialists for the Continuing Education group within Talent Management.

The overall goal of the team is to provide financial product and professional skills training that meets the needs of the Firm, both on a cross-divisional and business unit-specific basis.

The role comprises three functions—training coordination, support for the Continuing Education team, and course development.

Training Coordination

  • Review data submissions for new course sessions. Liaise with offshore team to set up courses in Learning Management System
  • Communicate and manage relationship with the conference center staff (including rooms, multi-media and facilities) and Morgan Stanley University personnel to insure bookings and logistics are 100% accurate
  • Schedule course dates/times with internal clients/external vendors
  • Liaise with instructors prior to program to confirm logistics and course materials.
  • Prepare materials for distribution
  • Ensure training rooms are set up as per specification. Meet and greet instructors prior to start of the course and as course is winding down.
  • Monitor the Learning Management System for course enrollments, course close out’s, and waiting lists. Analyze current offerings/waitlists/ no shows and make schedule recommendations to the rest of the CE team
  • Arrange visitor passes for external vendors
  • Analyze and summarize course evaluations to establish themes. Make recommendations for course changes based on those themes.
  • Assist with the execution of vendor invoices as and when appropriate

    Support
  • Light support for the team, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and conference calls.
  • Prioritization of issues and conflicts
  • May include making travel arrangements for team members

    Course Development

  • Maintain existing course materials
  • Improve/modify existing courses based on feedback
  • Develop new modules for existing courses
  • Work with other members of the Continuing Education team to design and develop new courses

    Skills Required:

  • Critical to the role is the ability to collaborate and interact across multiple client populations and at all levels from staff to senior officers.

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) – Intermediate - Advanced
  • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) a plus
  • Two years experience in instructional design
  • Experience delivering training a plus
