Connections Academy operates one school in Ohio under contract to the Ohio Connections Academy (OCA). OCA is a community school sponsored by the Ohio Council of Community Schools. The school serves students in grades K12 from anywhere in Ohio. OCA is nationally accredited by the Commission on International and Trans-regional Accreditation (CITA) and the North Central Association. 92.8% of all CA parents rated the program an “A” or “B” for the 2008-2009 school year.

Position Summary and Responsibilities
Working from their home, the Speech Language Pathologist will provide virtual speech therapy to students K-12 throughout the state of Ohio. You will be responsible for planning and implementing therapy in a virtual environment, communicating with the student's learning coach and teachers, and participation in the IEP process. The Speech Language Pathologist will connect with your students using webcams and web conferencing software, while using the school's Learning Management System to manage their caseload and minimize paperwork.

This is a part-time position. There are no benefits associated with a part-time position.
Requirements Requirements
• MA or MS and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
• PA State Licensure in Speech Pathology
• 1+ years experience in school setting
• Strong technology skills
• High degree of flexibility and ability to work independently
• Must own a computer with high speed Internet access that meets Connections Academy's minimum technology specifications (http://www.connectionsacademy.com/technology/technology_requirements.asp )
