The Business Application Analyst will work with Oracle Financials specifically for the Corporate Tax Group of our client in a highly functional capacity. S/he will be involved in strategic technology projects in conjunction with the business and will be asked to facilitate requirement sessions and meetings with all levels of the business. The Analyst will define and write requirements and write functional specifications. This position works with the business as well as IT Developers on needed changes and to help deliver technology solutions around Tax Software as well as Oracle functionality.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid accounting background and have been the lead Business Analyst through the selection and full implementation, or major upgrade of, a tax application (domestic and preferably international).
QUALIFICATIONS:
� 5+ years of strong Business Analysis experience in a primarily functional capacity
� Strong knowledge of Oracle Products and Oracle Methodologies (specifically Oracle Financials)
� Strong knowledge of best practices for Tax
� Good understanding of various 3rd party Tax Software Products
Domestic Tax knowledge
International Tax experience would be a plus
� Excellent ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
� Proven track record of being able to facilitate requirement sessions and meetings
� Ability to produce high quality functional specifications and do Process Mapping
� Excellent writing skills
� A strong background or a degree in Accounting/Finance is required
� Experience with Oracle 11i required, Oracle R12 would be a plus
