Why do you like working as a consultant for Veredus?

The great thing about Veredus is the Veredus team. Everyone whom I have had contact with has been extremely helpful and nice. Coming from South Florida where I had been exposed to a number of recruiting and consulting companies that fall in line with everything bad that is said about consulting, Veredus was a breath of fresh air. I have always felt that everyone from the recruiters to my Area Resource Manager to payroll and HR has been supportive of me. And, hey, a weekly paycheck that is direct deposited is pretty nice, too.

What project/job was the most rewarding and why?

My most rewarding project is the one that I am working on right now. Admittedly, I am new to consulting, but my current assignment with CFI/Westgate really feels like the best of both worlds. I am part of the Veredus organization and the team at Westgate.

What industry publication is on your coffee table at home?

I admit it, I don’t keep up with my reading. Sometimes I just like to kick back and not think about work, so my coffee table is more prone to have a couple of cooking magazines than an Oracle journal on it. Besides, I do most of my work-related reading on-line.

Why did you choose a career in Technology?

A career in Technology is basically a passport to go anywhere into just about any work environment. These days everyone from time-share, to news papers, to hospitals, to grocery stores all have vast IT departments and a technology career lets me get in to any of those doors, meet new people, and expose myself to new challenges. And, by definition technology is ever-changing so there is something new to learn every day.
