LCT Transportation Services, Inc. began operations in 1967 as Lester Coggins Trucking, Inc. with just one customer and four trucks. August 1993, we were purchased by the Gainey Corporation and since that time, we have grown to providing regular service to over 900 customers in 48 states, making us part of one of the fastest growing corporations in the U.S. LCT now transports many perishable products such as orange juice, milk, frozen foods, and fresh produce, as well as a variety of other products including plastics, drug, and grocery store items, containers, clothing and paper goods. While emphasizing its specialty in time-sensitive deliveries of perishable shipments, the company will continue to seek other shippers who require for their products and customers, a very high level of reliable service.
LCT provides you year round LTL service for Florida-grown fern and cut flowers as well as cut flowers imported into Miami from South America. This service utilizes refrigerated terminal facilities at Miami, Okahumpka (Central Florida), and Pierson, Florida, with daily scheduled service to wholesale florists and grocery chains in the Central, Midwest, and Western states.
SPECIAL SERVICES
Upon request we will provide decking equipment which can be used to simulate a double floor for maximizing the space available in the trailer.
For loading convenience a trailer pool can be spotted at the customer’s facility and live loading can be arranged with a few hours notice for hot shipments.
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
A Customer Service Representative is assigned to each account, seeing to the daily needs of the customer from taking the order to setting the delivery appointment. This gives our customers a single contact who can provide them with information concerning shipment status, billing and other pertinent information.

LCT Transportation Services is a long haul refrigerated carrier with common and contact carrier authority. Our authority spans 48 states, plus, ontario and Quebec, Canada. Scheduled LTL service for cut flowers and foliage is provided
from Florida to much of the US. Truckload services are also offered for both refrigerated and dry loads throughout the United States.
EQUIPMENT
LCT Transportation Services has 325 company-owned tractors, all less than four years old. The company operates a fleet of 450 state of the art refrigerated trailers.
SATELLITE TRACKING
LCT Transportation Services trucks are equipped with in cab QualComm® Mobile Tracking Systems. These satellite based systems allow us to continuously track all vehicles on a 24-hour basis. Equipped with computerized key pads, each driver is able to communicate with central dispatch for up-to-the-minute load information, providing real-time shipment information to the customer.
