JOB OVERVIEW

The Manager of Patient Access manages the Patient Access Representatives and the overall operations of the Patient Access Department. The Manager provides training and development to staff and leads all day to day functions in the department. This role is responsible for meeting department goals and objectives including, accurately and efficiently registering all patients, performing pre-admissions and insurance verifications, and contacting patients for the payment of deductibles, co-pays and coinsurance. Coordinates admissions process and communicates with physician offices, nursing and other service areas to promote timely and accurate registration process.
