Looking for Medical Technologist experienced in all areas of Laboratory. Must be able to handle large volume. Meditech experience a plus; not required.

Opening for Midnight shift, 11:00P-7:30A. Will float between North and South hospitals as needed; weekends and holidays as required.

 • Highly professional team of 45 Technologist, operating cutting edge laboratory equipment, including Bayer Track System, Galileo Blood Bank Automation, Vitek Two and Bactec.

• Over one and a half million tests are processed annually, with a successful Laboratory Outreach Program accounting for approximately 65% of laboratory testing volume.

• Two full service laboratories operate 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week at sister hospitals that are six miles apart.

• Service to world class Cancer Center and Open Heart Surgery Program

• Partnership with Indian River Community College to provide clinical internship training to laboratory students

• Clinical Advancement Program which allows motivated laboratory associates to earn an annual cash bonus

• Main Laboratory is approximately 8,750 square feet; second laboratory is approximately 1,000 sq. feet.

• Main laboratory processes approximately 5,500 tests/day; approximately 1,350 in Hematology and 2,250 in Chemistry.

• General Lab has (9) Medical Technologists, plus supervisors, working on the day shift in Main

Laboratory; (7) Medical Technologists in second hospital laboratory. There are (9) Medical

Technologists on the 3-11 shift; and (4) on the 11P-7A shift to cover both hospitals. Support staff of (7) clerical staff, plus an Office Manager.

• All hospital phlebotomy done by nursing staff; the laboratory has Phlebotomists who cover Outpatient areas only.
