ATG Developer and ATG Engineer

Our client is currently seeking an individual for the position of ATG engineer or ATG developer. 
The client is a strategic technology consulting firm that delivers application development, system integration and enterprise services.  The position is located in Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA.

* We are looking for mid-senior level engineers with ATG e-commerce experience.
* We are seeking a seasoned ATG engineer with expert level knowledge in ATG 6.4.x and 7.2.x.

 Job Description:
* The critical requirements for this position include extensive experience and knowledge of ATG Publishing (Content Administration), ATG Commerce, ATG Ecommerce and ATG Scenario/Personalization Server.
* The candidate must also be proficient in J2EE and other modern standards around enterprise Java development.
* Knowledge of other ATG products and SAP (especially in relations to an ATG Commerce environment) is a plus.
* This position is technical and analytical, demanding both strong engineering expertise and excellent spoken and written communication skills.
* The candidate will work directly with the marketing and merchandising groups to extract and validate the business requirements for periodic product promotion, coupon offerings and merchandising scenarios on our E-Commerce site.
* In addition, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Customer Care and troubleshooting issues related to the transfer of order information between ATG and SAP.
* While SAP knowledge is not strictly required, it is a plus. Strong SQL skills (Oracle), however, are critical to success in this and the publishing support role.
