Job Function:

The Marketing Director reports to the President/CEO, while managing other marketing professionals to execute strategic marketing tactics. These tactics include ongoing print and broadcast media campaigns, promotions, events, direct mailers, etc. that impact specific regions or the entire of the company. The Marketing Director will ensure projects are properly estimated, planned, tracked and completed on-time, on-budget and on-brand. The Marketing Director will also be tasked with finding ways to reduce costs and/or make marketing investments more efficient.

 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Works with vendor partners to plan and then buy and/or execute monthly and quarterly media programs including: TV, radio, print, yellow page, outdoor, interactive and other special projects designed to drive traffic and increase revenue.
  • Has a comprehensive knowledge of media buying, including metrics such as cost per thousand, cost per point, net reach, average frequency, etc.
  • Ensures timely completion and delivery of advertising collateral materials to stores, and work to improve the process to drive traffic to stores, while strictly adhering to predetermined budgets, timelines and an established brand personality.
  • Project management; from initial concept through copy writing and publication of various items, including brochures, web content, advertising, public relations, direct mailers, posters and electronic media.
    • Ability to drive the TV production process from concept to creation is critical, including concepts, planning, production and editing.

·         Works to provide campaign or event management. 

·         Setting up accounts and campaigns

·         Managing all aspects of events for store grand openings

·         Reviewing creative and editorial content

·         Forecasting and ensuring budgets are maintained

  • Monitors costs and account reporting for tactics as well as cost of tactics and report expense trends to marketing management.
  • Maintains comprehensive marketing operations tactical calendar and high-level project management of implemented tactics on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate and attend various events to help promote the corporate brand. This may include community events, festivals, etc.
  • Works with President/CEO to carefully manage the corporate brand both to internal and external audiences.
  • Looks for new and innovative ways to drive customer traffic and deliver a lower customer acquisition cost.
