Sapp Bros Truck Stops was started by the four Sapp brothers in Omaha at the junction of 1-80 and Highway 50 in 1971. The entity now known as Sapp Bros Truck Stops Inc. , was incorporated in October of 1988. Prior to then, the travel centers were each seperate corporations, under the central leadership of W.D.Sapp. Sapp Bros Truck Stops Inc. , has grown into a chain of sixteen travel centers.

Job Summary of Cashier :

The Store Sales Associate/Cashier is responsible for delivering fast and friendly service to our customers. He or she is required to treat every customer as if they were a Guest in their own home. A Store Sales Associate needs to have an enthusiastic, passionate desire to deliver outstanding Guest service and always with a smile.

Duties of Cashier includes:

Sapp Bros. is a place where everyone works hard to make each truck stop the very best by being the friendliest and cleanest truck stop chain in the United States. This is not an easy job, but it is very rewarding to serve the traveling public and trucking industry. We offer many opportunities for career advancement for team members who deliver “Wow” service. Below is a partial list of duties that one could expect to perform on a typical shift:

• Thank every Guest for their business and invite them back
• Greet every Guest with a smile
• Check in vendors
• Bag Ice
• Build a display
• Wipe down gas pumps
• Restock cooler doors and freezer
• Empty trash containers
• Sign for gasoline/diesel deliveries
• Clean rest rooms and showers
• Pick up outside trash and sweep lot
• Brew coffee and clean the fountain area
• Stock shelves
• Sweep and mop sales area
• Clear walk ways of snow and spread ice melt
• Order merchandise and supplies
• Stock roller grill and deli bar
• Attend regularly scheduled team meetings
