Description:   Job Summary : Service Transfer Operations Analyst will primarily be responsible for processing servicer transfer activities in the database to ensure accuracy of HAMP reporting. Analyst will perform transfer of servicing responsibilities upon request from Investors and support the servicer to accomplish HAMP service transfer activities accurately and timely. Provide day-to-day review of reports to ensure that milestones associated with the Service Transfer process are timely and accurately met and perform loan level research on escalated issues/concerns received. This position requires the candidate to be very detailed orientated as well as have the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Excellent verbal/written communication skills, research, comprehension, and interpersonal skills are required. An understanding of the mortgage servicing industry is a plus. Qualification/Skill sets for Sr Operations Analyst Demonstrated ability to effectively train and guide others Minimum of 5 years experience in mortgage servicing, consumer finance, or secondary markets; Minimum of 2 years experience in servicing transfer activities related to Secondary Market securitizations, portfolio loan sales, bank mergers, acquisitions etc. Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent analytical and assessment skills; demonstrated problem solving ability Strong organization and follow-up skills; ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workflow in a high-volume environment Ability to work well independently, as well as, part of a team to achieve department/ group goals Functional and technical expertise garnered and demonstrated through time on the job and/or within mortgage servicing; above average job performance sustained over time Proven ability to manage more complex loan servicing activity and/or successfully navigate exception-related processes Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel; basic typing/ computer keyboard skills required Flexibility to the changing requirements and priorities of the business with the ability to work varied/ alternate shifts and extra hours as determined by management/ required by the business Education/Work experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field. 3-5 years work experience in the financial services industry.
