  • 1986 - TemPro Services opens at the Alpine Center in Bettendorf, Iowa with 2 full-time Account Managers. The business initially focuses on the light industrial staffing sector. Export Packaging was the "anchor client" at the onset along with 2 other major QC companies: Barjan & Case who remain clients today.

  • 1987 - The first branch office opens in San Diego, California which is now the largest single group office. The San Diego office has specialized in the development of tele-staffing services for call centers.

  • 1987 - Sedona Consulting begins in the QC with a team of programmers who were contracted into companies on-site. The concept of contract "temporary" professionals was an innovative approach to human resource management at the time.

  • 1989 - The client list as well as internal staff continues to grow.

  • 1990 - Having outgrown the Bettendorf building, TemPro Services moves to a new building on Valley View Drive in Moline.

  • 1991 - This year sees the start of a major push on the clerical side with the recruitment of an experienced Account Manager.

  • 1992 - A "turnaround year" for TemPro Services. It is the start of an eight-year run of 30%+ annual sales growth.

  • 1993 - Sales break through the $10 million barrier and reach $11.6 million with an incentive trip to San Diego for reaching that goal.

  • 1994 - Two new partners join and open an office in Dubuque, Iowa for a total of six Sedona offices in Iowa and Wisconsin. Sedona Technologies is established to specialize in direct and contract hire in response to the technical recruitment needs of QC businesses.

  • 1995 - Sales, clients, and internal staff members continue to increase steadily.

  • 1996 - Sales exceed the $30 million mark as a number of new business ventures are instigated. Sedona invests in off-site Pro-Engineering expertise and at the same time, Sedona Technologies begins work on Y2K projects. The Central Business Office opens providing administration and medical billing for John Deere Health Centers.

  • 1997 - The expansion of the business and the development of exciting project opportunities requires more space. Work commences on a new building - The Sedona Tower.

  • 1998 - The Sedona Tower building is completed and the company starts the transition from TemPro Services to The Sedona Group.

  • 1999 - Sales exceed $80 million and the number of staff has grown to 80. Another nine Sedona offices open including Frankfurt, IL, San Francisco, CA, Madison, WI, Laguna Hills, CA, San Marcos, TX, Beaverton, OR, and Bloomington, IL.

  • 2000 - With a sales target of $100 million, The Sedona Group launches a new technologies business, investing in top technical talent from around the U.S. Sedona also achieves ISO 9001 Certification and is the first service business in the QC to achieve this accolade. The number of staff now exceeds 100.

  • 2001 - Four new offices open, bringing the total to 36 offices nationwide! In March, the corporate staff joined with branch partners in Cancun for a Sedona Celebration Summit. 110 people in attendance made this a true "family" celebration!

  • 2002 - During a time when the staffing industry was downsizing, Sedona offices continued to grow.

  • 2003 - Sedona's QC headquarters adds a Medical Staffing division. In December, the company's quality management system is upgraded to the ISO 9001:2000 Standard. The Muscatine, IA office opens.

  • 2004 - A new partner joins and opens the San Ramon, CA office. Continuing the growth, Alsip, IL, Hutto, TX, Dyersville, IA, Monticello, IA, & Lawrence, KS open their doors. By September, sales across the enterprise are up 31% gearing up for $100 million in sales by year end.

  • 2005 - The implementation of a new, state-of-the-art software system - Sedona Compass points Sedona in the direction of further sales growth.

  • 2006 - The Sedona Group has set a sales goal of $150 million which will be reached through continued growth in the QC market, existing partnerships, new partnerships, and business ventures
