It's Just Lunch ("IJL") is the specialized dating service for busy professionals. It's Just Lunch has coordinated hundreds of thousands of dates for our dating clients since our opening in 1991. We minimize stress and maximize the efficiency of dating by sending people on casual dates over lunch, brunch, or drinks after work. It’s Just Lunch is a fun proactive approach to your personal life. As first date specialists, we arrange quality lunch dates and drinks after work for busy professionals in a discreet, no-pressure setting. It’s Just Lunch started in 1991 and now has 90 locations all over the world, with thousands of clients… and many wonderful success stories!


We minimize the stress and maximize the efficiency of dating by coordinating our client's dates for lunch or for a drink after work. IJL is a "first date introduction service." People use a recruiter to find a job, a personal trainer to find a new body and It's Just Lunch to find new friends and potential partners.

There is a huge, untapped, and ever-growing national and international market for dating services as singles seek alternatives to bars, personal ads, and other methods of meeting others. The rise in tele-commuting, Internet usage, multiple career moves, long work weeks, etc., have made it more difficult for today's singles to meet. First you schedule a discreet, confidential interview with us. This no-pressure interview enables us to carefully discern what it is you look for in a potential partner. We talk about what has worked for you in the past (and what hasn't), and what your interests are. We'll know by the end of the hour if we have what you are looking for...if so, the fun begins!

We then set you up on your first lunch date (ok, sometimes brunch, sometimes a drink after work, but never, ever dinner). It's a first date short and sweet which you'll enjoy at one of the many fun, hip eateries on our preferred list!
